Welcome to the D.C. Police Hockey team website. The DC Police team was formed in the winter of 2002 and consists of law enforcement personnel from multiple agencies within the District of Columbia. The team's goal is primarily to generate funds for charitable causes as well as for recreational purposes.

As of July 2006, the team is supported by the DC Police Hockey Foundation, a non-profit corporation. The DC Police Hockey Foundation was formed to promote the sport of ice hockey in the Washington DC metropolitan area by fielding a competitive law enforcement ice hockey team. The team will participate in local, national and international games and tournaments against other law enforcement and public safety teams.
